When you discover a potential bug:
Test to try to recreate the issue
If able to recreate, add to basecamp in App Development > Support Bugs
Include as much documentation as possible with instructions on how to recreate
If unable to recreate, add to basecamp in App Development > Support Bugs with as much information as possible
Determine level of importance:
No stars – Minor bug, address when possible
One star (*) – More than one ticket or report in support. Mild issue.
Two stars (**) – 3 or more tickets experiencing the same issue.
Three stars (***) – Major bug that needs to be addressed ASAP
When Adding a todo to Basecamp:
Title of todo should be the issue that the client is facing (include stars for level of importance)
Include Practice name, practice ID number, admin email address
Add yourself to be notified once resolved
Assign to immediate superior
Include as much documentation as possible to help development team be able to recreate the issue or know where to start looking for a resolution
If able to recreate the issue, include detailed step by step instructions on how to recreate
