Bugs

When you discover a potential bug:

  • Test to try to recreate the issue
    • If able to recreate, add to basecamp in App Development > Support Bugs 
      • Include as much documentation as possible with instructions on how to recreate
    • If unable to recreate, add to basecamp in App Development > Support Bugs with as much information as possible
  • Determine level of importance:
    • No stars – Minor bug, address when possible
    • One star (*) – More than one ticket or report in support. Mild issue.
    • Two stars (**) – 3 or more tickets experiencing the same issue. 
    • Three stars (***) – Major bug that needs to be addressed ASAP

When Adding a todo to Basecamp:

  • Title of todo should be the issue that the client is facing (include stars for level of importance)
  • Include Practice name, practice ID number, admin email address
  • Add yourself to be notified once resolved
  • Assign to immediate superior
  • Include as much documentation as possible to help development team be able to recreate the issue or know where to start looking for a resolution
  • If able to recreate the issue, include detailed step by step instructions on how to recreate
